Memorial Day.

Memorial Day is a special day in a small town.

Small towns are good and appropriate places to remember why Memorial Day, or "Decoration Day", was first established. The Lake Vermilion area towns each have their own events in remembrance of the men and women who died in our nation's service. (The photo is from the Cook, MN Memorial Day parade.)
